Salon Software Pricing & Card Processing Costs

The honest arithmetic

For most businesses in this category the processing line is bigger than the software line. So start there, with your real numbers — including the cases where your current rate is already good.

  • No marketplace commission
  • No feature is gated behind our rails
  • No contract; data is exportable
  • Subscription

    Not yet published

  • Card processing

Keep your rate and your existing merchant account

  • Marketplace commission

None — there is no marketplace

What you actually pay

Three lines on the statement. Two of them are zero or yours, and the third will be printed here as a number before launch rather than quoted on a call.

The only line we charge

Groww POS software

One simple price for everything

Published before launch · no feature tiers

Every feature in the list below, for every business on the platform. There is no upgrade that unlocks deposits or card storage.

  • Booking, POS, payments, clients, staff, stock
  • Multi-location, registers and drawers included
  • English, Spanish and French
  • No contract, data exportable on request

Card processing

Your rate

Paid to your processor, not to us

Your Dejavoo or PAX terminal, your merchant account, the rate you already negotiated. We never see this line.

  • Dejavoo over the SPIn cloud proxy
  • PAX over direct IP on your network
  • Every feature works either way
  • Renegotiate it without asking us
How payments work

Marketplace commission

Zero

Because there is no marketplace

No consumer marketplace means no cut of a new client's first booking and no third-party page between you and them.

  • No commission on new clients
  • No listing, no bidding, no ranking
  • Your client list stays yours
  • No booking fee passed to clients
Why Groww POS

Put your own numbers in

The calculator works out what a month on your own processor actually costs, at the rate you have already negotiated.

Groww POS subscription pricing is not yet published — the calculator models the processing line only, at the rate you enter.

The awkward questions

Can I use my own credit card processor?

Yes, and no features are held back for doing so. Deposits, cards on file and everything else work identically whichever processor you use.

Which terminals does that mean in practice?

Dejavoo over the SPIn cloud proxy, and PAX over a direct IP connection on your local network. Both configure in settings with a live connection test.

Do you take a commission on bookings?

No. There is no marketplace, so there is no commission and no third-party site sitting between you and your clients.

Is the subscription per user?

The pricing model will be published here before launch. What is already decided is that the payment rails are not part of it — the software price and the processing rate stay separate numbers.

Are there per-message fees for reminders?

Messaging costs are a common hidden line on competing platforms. Our messaging terms will be published on this page before launch rather than discovered on a statement.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contracts or vendor lock-in, and your data is exportable on request.

What does the hardware cost?

If you already run a Dejavoo or PAX terminal, nothing — that is the point. Tablets, receipt printers, cash drawers and the customer display are listed on the hardware page.

Do you charge for data migration?

Clients, services, staff, price list and future appointments are imported as part of onboarding. See the switching section on any industry page for how the changeover runs.

What happens to my card rate if I switch to Groww POS?

Nothing. You keep the merchant account and the rate you already have. If your rate is already competitive, the calculator on this page will tell you so rather than pretending otherwise.

Can a client pay one bill several ways?

Yes — split tender across card, cash, gift card and loyalty, in any combination.

Can clients book online themselves?

Not today. Client-facing online booking is on the roadmap and is listed there rather than sold here. Staff booking, deposits and the waitlist work now.

Is there a phone app?

Groww POS runs on a tablet today. A phone app is a roadmap commitment, and the roadmap page states where it stands rather than implying it already exists.

Keep your terminal. Keep your rate. Keep every feature.

Groww POS runs on the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own — no features held back, no marketplace commission.
