Memberships & packages

Recurring memberships and prepaid packages that hold a real balance — checked at the counter in a tap, drawn down at checkout, and visible on the client record rather than in a notebook.

  • Your terminal, your negotiated rate
  • No marketplace commission
  • Gift card, loyalty and split tenders

What it does

Everything on this list is in the product today. What is not built is on the roadmap, not in this column.

  • Membership plans with recurring billing periods A plan that renews on a schedule and carries benefits while it is active.
  • Plan service benefits — what the membership includes An unlimited plan and a two-treatments-a-month plan can run side by side.
  • Package definitions with a balance of sessions or value Bought once, held as a real balance rather than a tally on a card.
  • Balance drawn down automatically at checkout Applied against the sale, not reconciled afterwards.
  • Remaining entitlement visible on the client record Known before the client reaches the counter, which is when it matters.
  • Usage tracking across visits and locations The balance is the client's, not the branch's.
  • Packages and memberships held by the same client at once The two do not compete; a client can hold both and use both.
  • Loyalty ledger alongside both Points, packages and membership on one record instead of three systems.

Recurring revenue only counts if the counter believes it

Memberships are sold on the promise of predictable income and lost at the front desk, where nobody can remember whether this client’s plan covers the add-on. The moment staff have to guess, the membership becomes an argument instead of an asset.

Groww POS puts the entitlement on the record and applies it at the till. What is included, what is left and what expires are the same number everywhere in the system.

Packages are a cash-flow tool, so track them like one

A six-session package is money taken today against work owed later. The balance is visible to the client and to the business, the usage is recorded per visit, and the liability does not quietly disappear into a spreadsheet nobody reconciles.

Switch with zero downtime

Changing software mid-season is the thing every owner dreads. Here is exactly how it goes.

  1. 1

    We import your data

Clients, services, staff, price list and future appointments — from a spreadsheet or an export from your current platform.

  2. 2

    You keep trading

Run both systems for a week if you want. Nothing is switched off until your team says so.

  3. 3

    Your terminal stays

Dejavoo or PAX — the hardware you already own and the rate you already have. No re-application, no new merchant account.

How switching works, step by step

Questions we get asked

What is the difference between a membership and a package?

A membership recurs on a schedule and carries benefits for as long as it is active. A package is bought once and holds a balance of sessions or value that draws down until it is spent. A client can hold both.

Does the balance come off automatically at checkout?

Yes. The entitlement is applied against the sale rather than reconciled afterwards, and what remains is on the client record immediately.

Can a membership include some services and not others?

Yes. Plan service benefits define what is included, so an unlimited membership and a two-treatments-a-month membership can coexist.

Do memberships work across locations?

Yes, within one tenant. Usage is tracked against the client, not the till they happened to walk into.

Keep your terminal. Keep your rate. Keep every feature.

Groww POS runs on the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own — no features held back, no marketplace commission.
