Hardware questions
Do I have to buy hardware from you?
No. If you already run a Dejavoo or PAX terminal, that is the terminal Groww POS uses. The tablet, printer and drawer are standard hardware you can source yourself.
Which terminals are supported?
Dejavoo over the SPIn cloud proxy and PAX over a direct IP connection. Both are configured in settings and both have a live connection test so you know before a client is standing there.
Does it run on a phone?
Not today — the app is built for a tablet. A phone companion is on the roadmap and is listed there rather than implied here.
What happens if the network drops?
Offline mode keeps taking sales and uploads them when the connection returns.
Can one location have several registers?
Yes. Registers belong to a location, drawers belong to a register, and terminals are configured per location.
