Tattoo Studio software
Tattoo studio bookings with deposits that stick
Deposits that actually hold, multi-hour and multi-session bookings that price correctly, and artist commission that settles from the sales themselves.
- Your terminal, your negotiated rate
- No marketplace commission
- Gift card, loyalty and split tenders
Built for the work
How Tattoo Studio teams actually run
Deposits that hold the date
Take the deposit on your own terminal when the appointment is set, and apply it against the session at checkout. No feature is withheld for using your own processing.
Long sessions booked as long sessions
A six-hour back piece and a twenty-minute piercing are not the same booking. Service duration, variants and add-ons price the difference before anyone sits down.
Artist commission and booth rent side by side
Some artists take a percentage, some rent the booth. Pay profiles handle both in the same studio and settle against the sales that happened.
Five screens, one tablet
The same system runs the diary, the till, the tip screen, the client record and the stock room. Pick a screen.
A day you can read at a glance
A column per staff member, per room or per chair — whichever is the constraint for Tattoo Studio teams.
- Drag to reschedule, with buffer and cleanup time attached to the service
- Rooms, equipment and staff booked as separate resources
- Walk-ins dropped into the next real gap, not a hopeful one
One sale, any combination of tenders
Services, retail, packages and deposits settle together — split across as many tenders as the client brings.
- Card and debit on the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own
- Split tender across any combination in one sale
- Gift card and loyalty redeemed at the till, not reconciled after it
The tip screen faces the client
Presets and a custom amount on a customer-facing second display, so nobody has to ask and nobody has to guess.
- Preset percentages plus a custom amount
- Tips attributed to the staff member who performed the service
- Flows straight into commission and the payroll period
History where the next booking is made
Visit history, preferences, notes, package balances and membership entitlement on one record.
- Package and membership balances visible before checkout
- Notes and preferences that follow the client between staff
- No marketplace between you and the people booking with you
What the service consumed, priced
Retail sold and product consumed by a service move the same stock, so cost stops being a month-end guess.
- Consumption logged against the service that used it
- Retail sold through the same till as the service
- Stock on hand, cost and margin from one ledger
Every tender your clients actually use
Card is the easy part. Gift, loyalty and split tender are where software written for beauty verticals runs out — and each is a real, processed tender here.

The internet is not a dependency
The deposit is the business model
A tattoo studio sells a block of an artist’s day. When that block evaporates the morning of, nothing else fills it. The deposit is what makes the calendar real, and it is worth checking whether the software you are considering makes deposits conditional on using its own payment processing — several do, and say so in their own documentation.
Groww POS takes deposits on the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own, at your negotiated rate, with the same feature set either way.
Pricing a piece, not a slot
Session length, artist, size, placement and add-ons vary the price before the appointment is confirmed. Service variants carry that so the booking, the quote and the final checkout agree with each other.
Switch with zero downtime
Changing software mid-season is the thing every owner dreads. Here is exactly how it goes.
- 1
We import your data
Clients, services, staff, price list and future appointments — from a spreadsheet or an export from your current platform.
- 2
You keep trading
Run both systems for a week if you want. Nothing is switched off until your team says so.
- 3
Your terminal stays
Dejavoo or PAX — the hardware you already own and the rate you already have. No re-application, no new merchant account.
Questions we get asked
Can a deposit carry across a multi-session piece?
Yes. The deposit is held against the booking and applied at checkout, so a piece finished across several sittings settles against what was already paid.
How are consent and release forms handled?
Client records and their attached documents export from the system. Groww POS is not an e-signature product, and the site does not claim to be one.
Can artists have different commission rates?
Yes, per artist and per service. Percentage commission and booth rent can run alongside each other in the same studio.
Keep your terminal. Keep your rate. Keep every feature.
Groww POS runs on the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own — no features held back, no marketplace commission.
