Run the Dejavoo or PAX terminal you already own, at the rate you already negotiated, with nothing held back for the privilege.
- Your terminal, your negotiated rate
- No marketplace commission
- Gift card, loyalty and split tenders
What it does
Everything on this list is in the product today. What is not built is on the roadmap, not in this column.
- Dejavoo terminals over the SPIn cloud proxy Your credentials and your merchant account, configured in settings with a live connection test.
- PAX terminals over direct IP on your local network No cloud hop — the till talks to the terminal across your own network.
- Multi-tender — split one sale across cash, card, gift and loyalty The sale closes when the balance reaches zero, however many tenders that took.
- Tips with 15/20/25% presets and a customer-facing second display The client chooses on their own screen rather than on the one you are holding.
- Card surcharge, configurable Set once in settings, applied at the till.
- Gift card issuance and ledger Issued, redeemed and tracked in the same system that took the money.
- Appointment deposits Charged on the terminal you already own, at the rate you already negotiated.
- Cash drawer sessions with open, close and reconciliation Open, close and count, with the variance recorded rather than argued about.
- Offline mode with deferred upload Sales keep going through the connection drop and upload when it returns.
- ESC/POS receipt printing over USB or network, plus PDF USB or network printers, or a PDF when there is no printer at all.
Every tender, drawn
Each tile is a tender the terminal actually runs. Two of them are the reason clinics and practices end up here.

The internet is not a dependency
The processing line is the biggest number on your statement
For a salon running twenty thousand dollars a month through a bundled platform, processing costs more than the software subscription — often several times more. It is the largest controllable cost in the business and the one most platforms quietly take out of your hands.
Groww POS treats your terminal as first-class hardware. Dejavoo and PAX both configure with your own credentials, against your own merchant account, at whatever rate you negotiated. Improving that rate later is a conversation with your processor, not a feature request to us.
Where “bring your own” usually has a catch
Other platforms do allow an outside processor — and then gate the features you actually wanted behind their own rails. Deposits, cards on file, self checkout: available, but only if you process with them.
Groww POS holds nothing back. The tender list is the same, the deposit flow is the same, and the feature set does not change based on whose rate you are paying.
Switch with zero downtime
Changing software mid-season is the thing every owner dreads. Here is exactly how it goes.
- 1
We import your data
Clients, services, staff, price list and future appointments — from a spreadsheet or an export from your current platform.
- 2
You keep trading
Run both systems for a week if you want. Nothing is switched off until your team says so.
- 3
Your terminal stays
Dejavoo or PAX — the hardware you already own and the rate you already have. No re-application, no new merchant account.
Questions we get asked
Can I use my own credit card processor?
Yes, and nothing is gated behind ours. Deposits, cards on file and every other feature work the same either way. That last part is the difference worth checking against other platforms.
Which terminals are supported?
Dejavoo over the SPIn cloud proxy, and PAX over a direct IP connection on your local network. Both configure in settings with a live connection test.
Does it work if the internet goes down?
Yes. Offline mode continues taking sales and uploads them when the connection returns.
